November 22 - Day 5

Sorry about keeping everyone in suspense.  We are trying to wake Chloe up more.  She's still out of it and keeps going in and out.  When she falls asleep, she has apnea - or stops breathing.  We need to wait for the meds to wear off.  It has been an exhausting day.  When she wakes up she tries to pull at her tubes and lifts her head up.  We have to calm her down.  Then, when we calm her down, and she falls asleep, she stops breathing, and we have to yell at her and shake her to breathe.  It's been heartbreaking, because she has been crying a lot, too.

Sorry I haven't updated you sooner, but I've been doing my traffic school on my laptop, while doing everything else.  We mother's are major multi-taskers.  You would think with my connections, I could have gotten out of this silly thing.  Rolling a stop sign in Sierra Madre - major crime.

I am praying for Chloe and your family. You are an amazing mom and I will pray that God will continue to comfort and give you strength through it all.
Please let me know if I can help in any way - dinner, or anything.
    Love,
    Stephanie

I will you all in my prayers and hope that you will be taken off of oxygen and can breathe on your own. I've had some really boring days without you.

  3. Chloe,
I miss you so much and cannot wait for you to come home! I am still praying for you. I think about you all day long and hope you will have a good recovery. My family is thinking about you too. I hope that you will get the tubes out of your mouth- it must be really gross!

    Love,
    Cameron

  4. Chloe,
My family and I are still praying for you. In fact, we had a family get-together for dinner at my grandma's house. She said that my cousin and I could say the prayer that night so I could pray for you. I got bored today, so I made a friendship braclet for you! I'm on the edge of my toes ,waiting for you to come home and praying that you recover quickly. Hope to see you soon!

    Your friend,
    Allie :-)

  5. Chloe,
Hey it's Brogan. I can't wait until you feel better. Stay tough. I wouldn't want those tubes in either, but you have to get better. Looking forward to seeing you back on your feet running around with me. Love, Brogan

Many, many people you have never met have you in their hearts. Hugs,

  7. Nicole,
Wow. You are amazing. Thanks for your updates. You are gifted at writing. I so appreciate knowing how Chloe is doing. Healing can be seemingly such a slow process. What great pictures you have posted. I love you guys and am reminded when I walk out my kitchen door how lucky I am to have neighbors such as you.

    Chloe,
Hang in there. It's rough going. Every day brings it's own challenges. The west side (and the east side :)) are pulling for you.

    In my thoughts and prayers,
    Diane

  8. Hi Greep Family,
Sorry I have been out of touch for a couple of days (busy with my mom before her surgery). Anyways, I am continuing to pray for strength and comfort for Chloe during this time. This Thanskgiving break seems a little surreal with all that is going on. Looking forward to getting both Chloe and my mom home from their hospital beds. Let me know if I can be of help in any way.
    Take care,
    Danielle
