Going Home! - November 24 - 3:30

Yeah - Chloe's doctor's are discharging her.  We will be going home in a few hours.  She walked around the ICU and is done with the hospital.

She has an appointment on Tuesday, where the doctor will put her under, and fix the screw that came out.  Dreading that one.

She is feeling her face a lot.  It feels funny to her.  She feels like her nose and mouth are in different spots.  Her mouth and tongue feel funny, too.    She's very congested and just wants to blow her nose.  She feels like her mouth and face is slipping.  Which is what is exactly happening.  I hope it gets better.

We'll keep you posted on when she's ready for visitors.

Thank you so much for all of your love and prayers.  I will still post her progress all three months until she has the surgery to take out the screws and plates sometime in February.

Love you - I am thankful!

  15. Hi Dancer Girl,

You did it! You and Grandpa are alike, very determined. We were at the house to greet you. You look taller and older. Probably because we haven't seen you stand for a week. We loved hearing you say "I love you." You got into your bed and seemed very happy to be home. Great! Now we can breathe again! Sleep tight Chloebear. We love you!

  27. I go to goddard like Chloe and when i saw your daughter i was instantly interested in her story. I took the time to look her up in the yearbook and do some research on CHARGE syndrome. I'm very sorry that your daughter has to have so many surgeries so young and I just wanted you and your family to know that I'm here for you because due to my dad's neck problems and having colon cancer he had to have alot of surgeries. Also my best friend's dad had to have 17 surgeries for crashing a motorcycle and basically destroying his foot. Both me and my best friend wanted to let your whole family know that we are absolutely here for you if you ever need to talk to someone. Of course I'm going to high school now but i would be glad to talk to you anyways but my friend is going into 6th grade next year so she will get to meet Chloe :)
