Chloe's eyes are open - yeah! She is feeling much better and is back to being our happy Chloe girl. We had some more good news yesterday. Chloe will have the remaining 3 screws in her mouth and the 2 dangling rods removed from behind her ears next Wednesday. She's feeling nervous about another surgery and having an IV again. I think she'll feel a little bit better without those things, and she'll be able to smile!

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed spending the day with you yesterday. It was good to see you take interest in things again. You wanted to do something special for Katie as a thank-you for all that she has done for you during recovery. I liked the watercolor that you did for her. Your appetite is definitely back -- you couldn't stop eating the tuna salad. We did your homework, and I had you read just a little bit. Even though you almost had your nose touch the book, you were able to read a few sentences. That will improve every day. You were in a talkative mood, so that's what we did. You were a great help in painting the pinecones and tiny pots -- thank you! Love you.
