December 1

Chloe had a rough night.  She was in a lot of pain, and took some pain medication.  The medication is to be taken every 5 hours, and she was feeling pain after about 3 1/2 hours.  At 2:00 she came out on the couch to rest.  She went back to bed and didn't want anymore medication.  When she woke up this morning her eyes were very red and goopy.  I took her to her eye doctor.  Dr. Tarczy-Hornoch is amazing - very gentle, kind, smart, and thorough.  There's a brand new Children's Hospital Arcadia office - yeah.  She said Chloe's corneas look healthy.  Chloe is now using eyedrops and erythromyocin ointment.  I think this will help quickly and will help get Chloe's spirits up.  It's hard not to be able to see, while sitting around all day.

Chloe isn't up for visitors today.  I think tomorrow she will be.  I think her eyes and mouth will feel much better tomorrow.

Thank you again for all of your thoughts, prayers, and well wishes!  Love you all!!!!

  2. Hi Chloe:
My name is Tammi. I work with your dad Tom. He told me how strong you have been through all of this! I just wanted to let you know we are all thinking about you and hoping that you feel better very soon. You are a very brave girl! Maybe when you are feeling better you could meet my two sons. I think it would be good for them to meet such a strong person:)

  9. Hi Chloe!

Lily, Greta and Rachel all are concerned about you and asked how you are doing. We all are hoping that you feel better each and every day.

Since we know you are a Taylor Swift fan, the girls plan on singing with a little more energy and just a little louder as they get ready in the morning, just for you! It's our little reminder to send you our healing thoughts and prayers as we start the day.

    Love,

    The Gledhills.

  10. Hi Chloe...I hope today is a much better day. I saw your dad and sisters at Katie's softball team party...they said you are doing great! You are amazing and we are all so proud of you! You are a strong, brave girl(probably braver than most of us adults!!) I am so happy you will be able to meet and help another girl who will have a similar procedure. That's a wonderful thing you are doing. She is blessed to get to meet and talk to you..I know you will help her a lot. We will pray for her too! Chloe, you are AMAZING! Keep your spirits up...it will get better. We love you! The Salle's
